Welcome to the academy
Smart Dog Academy (SDA) is a full service dog training facility in Davao City. We offer companion dog training, no-crate dog day care, pet dog obedience class/workshop, dog behavior and rehabilitation program. SDA is the first in Mindanao, if not the whole country, to offer a day care with training services where pet owners can leave their companion dogs with us for a day, and we will train/teach their dog the basics.

When I first brought Tony to Smart Dog Academy, he had separation anxiety and was very stubborn. After a few doggy day care sessions, he improved so much. Sir Arnold of Smart Dog Academy DVO and his assistant spent 7 hours educating us owners and training the two but they only charged an hour since Brave is a rescue dog. It is also sir Arnold’s advocacy to help the rescues and their rescuers live the most comfortable life. Arnold is a competent and knowledgeable trainer with lots of heart and passion for his craft. He’s a no-nonsense person. He’ll tell you things as they really are, whether you want to hear it or not. (I don’t know if that sounds positive to some of you guys, but hey! there’s nothing better than hearing the truth!)
